Outpatients Department & Fracture Clinic


As a Main Out Patients and Fracture Clinic we are committed to providing a supportive learning environment, where the continuous professional development of all disciplines are met through a process of critical enquiry, ongoing training and development.

We ensure a high standard of evidence based care is met by working towards a common goal of being a centre of excellence incorporating the Trust values. We provide comprehensive services here are some of the many areas we cover:

Outpatients Department services include:

  • Complex wound management, including plastics and vascular
  • Recording and reporting patient observations and information/ processing patient notes
  • Prepare, reassure patients for examination and chaperone
  • Assisting with procedures /Biopsy / FNA/Expansions
  • Patient education guidance and support
  • Medicine management

Fracture Clinic services include:

  • Adult Trauma and orthopaedic elective outpatient’s clinics. New and follow up patients.
  • Emergency patients from ED, x-ray and GP referrals
  • Paediatric plastering clinics
