Preceptorship

We have an established 12 month preceptorship programme, with dedicated study days for newly qualified staff.  A bespoke programme of seven study days is delivered, which is constantly updated following evaluation of the programme.

  • Nutrition
  • Communication/Safety
  • Leadership development.

Preceptor

Each newly qualified practitioner will be assigned a named Preceptor to help you in your new post.  Your preceptor will help you to complete your preceptorship book, and give you support in your new role.

Practice Development

Support and guidance is available from the Practice Development team, where we have a dedicated facilitator for newly qualified staff to steer you through your first year post registration.
